Behind every bag of Second Rise snacking crackers are three sourdough starters: Betty Sue, Betty Gene, and Betty Ann. They've been fed, nurtured, and kept alive through every early batch. Discard from all three goes into every recipe.

 

They don't get a byline. But they do get credit.
