Za'atar - Middle East
Za'atar is a spice blend that's been a staple of Middle Eastern cooking for centuries: thyme, sumac, sesame, olive oil, and salt in a combination that's herby, citrusy, and deeply savory. We use New York Shuk's blend, baked into the dough and finished on top.
If you've never had Za'atar, this cracker is your entry point. If you already know, you know (IYKYK).
Pairs well with: labneh, olive oil for dipping, mezze platters, fresh cucumber. Also consider goat or Swiss cheese while sipping on sauvignon blanc.
Limited Run: Passport flavors rotate seasonally.
